Surprise! no team messes up more than the Browns
The Play Failure rate looks at how often a play ends in a negative, or failed, result. We added up all negative rushes, sacks, interceptions, and fumbles then we divided it by the number of plays; the end result is a look into what teams execute their plays the best. To no one surprise the Browns are at the top of the list, but I doubt most people outside of Bayou State would have been able to guess the Saint are leading the charge of not sabotaging themselves. Another shocker is the Vikings; despite the great season they have been having are in the top 10 for failure rate, but I believe that is due to missing Jake Long on the line, since the runs for loss account for over 70% of their negative plays.
